In this episode, Jas is joined by Jacob Rude. The big news from the NBA Draft was that the Lakers picked Virginia forward, De'Andre Hunter with the No. 4 pick, which we all thought was going to New Orleans as part of the Anthony Davis trade. But, the Pelicans ended up making a deal with the Atlanta, sending Hunter to the Hawks. With this move, the focus shifts to if the Hawks are willing to absorb the contracts of Isaac Bonga, Jermerrio Jones and Moe Wagner. If they're willing to do play ball, it would give the Lakers would be able to open up a max slot. Jacob and Jas get into if the Lakers should go that route, or use the cap space to acquire more veteran depth. Following that, the guys get into who could be potential targets for the Lakers in free agency and how they can fill out the roster under both scenarios as well as discuss the potential of the Lakers signing players to one-year deals and then look to bring in another big name in 2020. To wrap things up Jacob and Jas breakdown the Lakers selection of Taylor Horton-Tucker at No. 46 after trading a future pick and cash to the Orlando Magic. Learn more about your ad choices.
