On Wednesday afternoon, the Milwaukee Bucks decision to not take the floor for their scheduled Game 5 meeting with the Orlando Magic kickstarted a movement that quickly picked up steam the rest of the day. Within hours, the rest of Wednesday's playoff games, including the Lakers-Blazers Game 5 contest, were canceled as players across the league united in a strike. By night's end, a meeting with the players and coaches inside the bubble led to LeBron James, the Lakers and the Clippers to voting to boycott the remainder of the playoffs. They also discussed what's at stake for the players, how the onus is now on the owners to take action and why Wednesday was the pinnacle of the player empowerment era.
